“Staff made up of family was very friendly and took the time to answer questions about local restaurants and to find me a spare blanket. Rooms are like what you find in a bed and breakfast. Big front porch with rocking chairs for guests. Nice breakfast layout. Outdoor fire pit. Very nice.”

“The room was filthy. There was chunks of mud on the floor. The shower had hair left in it. My son and I refused to walk around without shoes. There was a broken outlet right by the bed so we weren’t able to charge our phones. In the morning, starting at 9am we got knocks from housekeeping repeatedly until finally after the 4th occurrence I opened the door in my pajamas. Nothing was landscaped and the windows were unlocked.”

It was very foggy about a week ago, and when you walked in to the building the hallway kind of reminded me of a con bless in Home smell in our room was a very musty smell, but otherwise the day was fine. The coffee was amazing and the people were amazing what I stay there again possibly”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Rockland Talbot House. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very, very comfortable. The property is a beautiful, well kept house from the 1800's with lots of character and original pieces. The Inn has a wonderful coffee machine with hot lattes, cereal, oatmeal, muffins and other pastries for breakfast as well as fresh fruit, juices and yogurt. The Rockland Talbot House is only a few blocks away from downtown Rockland and for those of you who love……

“Beautiful inn and nice breakfast. Very helpful and hospitable hosts. Keep in mind that the bed in room 7 is quite small for a couple. The amenities, soaps and shampoos were tiny and not good quality. If those were upgraded, I would have given it a 5 star.”
